You are so friendly and welcoming that you manage to create a safe space quite effortlessly. Your response to your "goof" when you forgot to allow the second group to do their skit was perfect! You didn't get flustered, asked them to do their skit and kept moving. This showed a very human side that facilitators sometimes forget helps them connect to their participants!
Using the power point slides to make your point and not tell the whole story is very appropriate.
Your explanation of the compassion skit activity was very well done! It was thorough and clear and folks could easily understand their purpose and goal. The processing of that activity was also very well done; you allowed all the participants to share their thoughts and acknowledged them as well.
Reminding the participants about the rules for the writing and dialogue activity was great. The reminder to just write was helpful as many folks have a hard time doing that. Asking if anyone "cared to share" was also nice after the writing and before the dialogue.
Pam, you are so friendly that you automatically put people at ease. You were so much more comfortable this time versus the first time you presented and that was quite evident. You showed your very personable side when you felt as if you made a mistake with the second group not presenting their follow up skit. You handled that beautifully. Well done, Pam!
Continue to get more comfortable and familiar with the material. You have a natural presence that will allow folks to be themselves around you.
