How well did the facilitator lead the group and create a safe space? Please explain and give examples.
Very relaxed, full of information, stories, open and engaging others during his presentations and at other appropriate times as a participant. His formal practice of writing Ethical Mindfulness in the hat he always wears (because his dermatologist told him to always wear a cap), was fun and informative - bib in front = the Skill - Ethical Mindfulness; bib to right = Heedfulness; bib to back - Mindfulness; bib to left = Awareness, which he practiced everyday slipping the bib around on his head as he drove to his work in the prison system. Similarly, he did very well with Slides 4, 8, and 10-16. On the word "Empathy" he could have been more direct in getting participants to give their thoughts and then give the definition with less personal commentary, which can detract from clarity of definition and thoughts from others about that. Solicited good inputs on the Bias slide. #8, and solicited good question from Kuany as he presented Empathy Fade material #10 - 16.

Open to inputs, using CIT explanations / descriptions / definition, tying each back to prior skills in practical way, for example, Bias slides going back to "just like me" CP and encouraging good feedback raising fact that bias can be very beneficial in certain circumstances of safety and survival, fostering deeper understanding of the role of categories and biases in relationships.

Keep personal stories and commentaries briefer and succinct....as much as possible. But overall quite good, with wondeful bit of humor.
