How well did the facilitator lead the group and create a safe space? Please explain and give examples.
The check in at the beginning of the session helps to create that safe space and Marco does a great job checking in with folks at the start of a session.
How well did the facilitator explain this Skill using the PowerPoint presentation? Please give examples.
Use the slides to help start conversations. When you were discussing the caterpillar and the butterfly you can use the slides to help facilitate conversation as the images help to explain the concept.
How well did the facilitator explain and lead the activities in this Skill? Please explain and give specific examples.
The activity needed a bit of clarification and more explanation. People seemed a little confused by what they were supposed to be doing so giving more detail in the explanation may have helped.
How well did the facilitator lead the Mindful Dialogues and Reflective Writing Exercises in this Skill? Please explain and give specific examples.
What aspects of this Skill did you think the facilitator did exceptionally well? Please give examples.
Marco did a great job with his check in and the question about how you can apply what you are learning to your every day life is a good thought-provoking question. Reminding participants how the skill last week tied in to this week was really good; a conscious thought to go to the pause with the question "am I caught in an afflictive mental state" was a good reminder for everyone.
How well did the facilitator lead the Contemplative Practice in this Skill? Please explain and give specific examples.
What aspects of this Skill could the facilitator improve? Please give examples.
Marco, don't hesitate to ask more questions. You want to facilitate more than teach. Try to let them come to their own conclusions rather than tell folks things. Letting a question sit in silence is not a bad thing.
|Do you recommend this facilitator to become certified?||Yes|
