How well did the facilitator lead the group and create a safe space? Please explain and give examples.

Marilyn does a great job of making all parties feel safe, welcome and part of the group. Recognizing voices is very important in the online format and Marilyn does that well. Understanding you may not be facilitating online, however, this is an important step in making the participants feel recognized.

How well did the facilitator explain this Skill using the PowerPoint presentation? Please give examples.

When someone else is clicking the slides, it is sometimes difficult to keep on target. Marilyn did a nice job of ensuring that the slides matched the content. acknowledging the potential difficulty in understanding the slide on mental proliferation was helpful as other participants were also struggling with the concept and visual representation.

How well did the facilitator explain and lead the activities in this Skill? Please explain and give specific examples.

How well did the facilitator lead the Mindful Dialogues and Reflective Writing Exercises in this Skill? Please explain and give specific examples.

Marilyn did a great job reminding the participants about the rules for RW and MD activities. Putting the questions in the chat box was also helpful. Again, recognizing that Marilyn may not be facilitating online, the skill of providing the questions to the participants was very important.

What aspects of this Skill did you think the facilitator did exceptionally well? Please give examples.

Marilyn is a skilled facilitator and conversation prompter. Asking the question "how do we move to a definition of emotional awareness based on a picture" was a great conversation prompt.
Asking what connects emotional awareness to the other concepts was also a great conversation prompt and reminder of the skills building on each other.
Loved the art history lesson about the focal point of the slide with the mental states and the focal point being the person in the middle.
