The slides were used in a very appropriate manner to help facilitate conversation and keep the session moving the way it was intended. The slides were used to enhance dialogue and conversation and help participants understand the concepts by putting words and pictures together for greater understanding.

CIT focuses on a facilitation model so try to facilitate conversation more than "lecture" to the group. Don't be afraid of silence and allow participants a chance to process the questions you are asking and material you are sharing. Stop and ask questions to get the pulse of the group and make sure everyone is on the same page. Don't be hesitant to kick questions back to the group for their feedback before you offer an answer or explanation.
