The slides were used in a very appropriate manner to help facilitate conversation and keep the session moving the way it was intended. Asking questions to start conversation was excellent (specifically related to impartiality). This style invites dialogue and conversation. We want folks to come to their own conclusions about the material. Asking questions of the participants helps draw out their thoughts and impressions.

Perhaps provide a bit more explanation of the sun metaphor when discussing impartiality, it was kind of left hanging a bit.
When working with a partner, try to have a bit more cohesion. This also comes with practice and a steady "partner" with whom you can facilitate.
This is in only applicable in the training setting: perhaps ask for fellow FITs ("masquerading" as actual participants) for their impressions of activities/video would be a more helpful simulation of an actual group is describing the activity/video.
