Casey was welcoming, warm, and very personable. Great presence with the group. Casey acknowledged all the comments from participants in a manner that made them feel heard and important as part of the group.

The slides were used in a very appropriate manner to help facilitate conversation and keep the session moving the way it was intended. The slides were used to enhance dialogue and conversation and help participants understand the concepts by putting words and pictures together for greater understanding.

The recognition of the participants when they provided thoughts, comments, stories, experiences, or feedback was excellent. Individual recognition is important to help all participants feel like they are contributing members of the group. You were also able to connect participant comments to each other, what a wonderful skill. Your personal examples (panda, glitter globe) were well done and appropriate.

As you become more familiar with the content of the material your notes will be less important. Having them handy is important though because they are a great reference to ensure you didn't miss anything you wanted to share.
Monitoring time is a skill that will come with time and practice. Every group is different and will take some practice to figure out what information can be shortened or how a session can be modified depending on the "talkative" nature of the participants.
