Great job checking in from las week and ensuring that we are all on the same page to start this session. This really establishes a rapport and helps folks feel comfortable in the environment.

using the power point slides and visual cues as a resource for the conversation and not the whole conversation is important. When you are running them yourself it is even easier. 🙂

the explanation of how to do the activity was spot on even though we did not actually do it. This can be a hard session for folks so don't be afraid to give it the time it needs for the group.

What aspects of this Skill did you think the facilitator did exceptionally well? Please give examples.
You are going to be a great facilitator. Be yourself and allow that to shine through as that will resonate very well with participants who see you being authentically you. Folks naturally gravitate to your positive disposition. I look forward to seeing/hearing great things about how you are using CIT in your new community.
How well did the facilitator lead the Contemplative Practice in this Skill? Please explain and give specific examples.
Well done. This was a very nice practice. Don't be afraid to use the script verbatim (or as a resource as you clearly have a great deal of experience with various meditations and contemplative practices).
What aspects of this Skill could the facilitator improve? Please give examples.
Try to remember to facilitate conversation more than lecture. Allow the participants to share thoughts on topics for example, you gave all the information regarding the strategies for cultivating forgiveness and gratitude and that could have been a great conversation with the group. Also, try to remember that phrases like "it's easy" or "everyone loves their family" might not be accurate for some participants. We want to phrase things in a more neutral manner.
