You did a great job connecting the skill from last week to this week. "What is the purpose of placing self-compassion here" was a great way to start the group and allow the participants to create their own links between the sessions.
Great check in regarding the practices and your personal experience with the during the week with the use of teh pause in conversations with your family.

The use of the power point slides was efficient and used as a guide rather than the whole explanation.

The explanation of the activity was very clear and easily understood by the group. Your questions to process the activity at the end were also very well done. The questions did not sound rehearsed and robotic but sincere.

Shane is very warm, welcoming and personable! The fact that you were in a public place and dealing with all the challenges around you, and still managed to present the skill well is a tribute to you (and your determination perhaps 🙂 ). The environment was less than ideal for you and you did an outstanding job. You make the group feel comfortable and safe.
