Mithela, you co-lead the session very well. Generally, Gareth took over at the beginning after your warm welcome and encouraging everyone to share. However, you upheld the container of safety created by Gareth, in the way you acknowledged participants' replies and found sensitive words for example when Alex shared about the current situation in Uganda.
You guided the group through the slides of extended compassion very profoundly. You asked great questions, which Gareth repeated in the chat. (Great teamwork). I particularly appreciated you explanation how we actually can extend compassion.
You facilitated the “tanker slide” referring to compassion as a strength versus the thinking trap of compassion as a weakness wonderfully, bringing in an amazing twist when you stated that for you the student can be seen as hope. You spoke from your heart showing that you meant what you said, which is very authentic and engaging. You asked powerful questions to engage participants and linking the skills when you asked how people feel at the sight of the tanker.
While you continued to reveal your knowledge about skill 8 when facilitating the three components of compassion, I would have appreciated if some of your great questions were repeated in the chat. E.g. “Is there anyone who does not have this kind of eight wordly concern.” But this would have been more a team call.
At the same time, I want to give credit to you replying to very interesting questions in the chat while Diane was facilitating. Your team work has been superb!
You facilitated very authentically and natural. It suits you very well to speak from your heart, Mithela. This has been a strong performance revealing your grasp of the skill and command of facilitation.
I have nothing more to suggest than what I mentioned in the feedback above.
