Charter for Compassion International

San Antonio, Texas

In conjunction with the Charter for Compassion International, CCISE will host a training for twelve compassionate cities, organizations and sectors (i.e., education, social justice, and environment).  Some of these include Compassionate cities like San Antonio, Dallas Forth Worth,  Atlanta, Tucson, Houston, Go Love Now, and the School of Compassion at Monterrey (Mexico).  This three-day intensive training will continue the relationship that CCISE has with the Charter for Compassion International and will provide an opportunity for ten Facilitators-in-Training to fulfill their practicum requirements.


The City of San Antonio

San Antonio, Texas

On June 22, 2017, by city council resolution, San Antonio became one of the newest Compassionate Cities within the Charter for Compassion International. In hopes of creating sustainable change, the top elected and unelected official, including the city’s Mayor, will be participating in a three-day CIT program.


Arrendale State Prison

Alto, Georgia

CCISE and other CIT Facilitators conduct on-going CIT courses for incarcerated women. To date, there are over twenty Facilitators-in-Training and one Certified Facilitator at Arrendale.


Phillips State Prison

Buford, Georgia

CCISE and other CIT Facilitators conduct on-going CIT courses at Phillips State Prison for incarcerated men. There are several men at Phillips training to become Certified Facilitators.


Trinity Community Ministries and Gateway Center

Atlanta, Georgia

Trinity House and the Gateway Center will be hosting weekly CIT sessions beginning Tuesday, October 2, 2018.  CCISE and other CIT facilitators are excited to partner with Trinity House and the Gateway Center to share this information.
